Forest Park’s Historic Preservation Committee continued preparing its case for the Village to adapt a Historic Preservation Ordinance last week with a rehearsal of its presentation for the Village Council. The committee hopes that the ordinance, which would give residents whose homes have been deemed historically or architecturally significant the option of applying for restoration grants, will increase tourism and property values in the Village. Members hope to present to Council in November after one more practice run.
