An attorney with a family law practice in Forest Park was recently sworn in as a member of the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court. Donald Boyd, Jr. was in Washington on Oct. 13 for a quick ceremony during which he and other attorneys from around the country were met by the clerk of the court before having their names read aloud by Chief Justice John Roberts, according to a colleague of Boyd’s. Being admitted to the highest court in the country was a highlight of Boyd’s professional career, his colleague said.
The Boyd Law Firm has two offices in the area, one at 232 S. Lathrop in Forest Park; the other in Chicago. Boyd is a 1996 graduate of DePaul University College of Law in Chicago.
