Dear Voters,
I wish to sincerely thank you for your support and over-whelming vote of confidence in Tuesday’s General Election. Although, it was predicted to be one of the lowest turn-outs, you proved the pundits and pollsters dead wrong! Voters throughout Proviso Township and the seventh representative district increasingly exercised their right to have a say of who would best represent them at the federal, state, and county level of government. I am honored to have the opportunity to continue representing you in Springfield.
Although, the state has serious challenges ahead, I can promise you that I will continue to advocate for reliable educational funding, sustainable economic development, job creation, protection for the most vulnerable, crime prevention, and a healthier Illinois. Additionally, I will continue to bring forth ideas and thoughtful ways to address our budget deficit without hurting those who depend upon government the most.
There are no easy answers; but I believe that collectively we will make our best effort to get the job done.
