I want to thank The Forest Park Review for the enthusiastic endorsement of my candidacy for Forest Park commissioner. I am honored, humbled and proud of the recognition. I fully intend to live up to the praise if I am fortunate enough to be elected.
I hope your endorsement is a reflection of my positive campaign. Issues have always come first, not campaign rhetoric. I have seen the few negative ads and hope in this final week of the campaign we have already seen the worst.
In our village we should all be free to put ourselves out there, to be evaluated, without having to tear each other down to get ahead. I will not partake in that practice, but I obviously cannot stop others from doing so.
I am as available now as I will be if I am elected commissioner. If you have a question, or a topic that you think needs attention, please feel free to ask. I appreciate your consideration on April 5.
