Magdalene “Maggie” L. Smith (nee Higdon), 89, of Forest Park died April 26. She was born March 8, 1924. She was the wife of the late George E. and sister of Ivy Arndt, Robert Higdon, William Higdon and Roberta Spence.
She was mother of William (Karen) and George (Cindy), grandmother of George E., James S. (Amber) and Steven R., and great-grandmother of Tanner James and Colton Michael. She was formerly an active member of the Forest Park Senior Center.
Services were held Monday and Tuesday with arrangements by Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, Forest Park.
