Mina Kent Harmon, 86, of Forest Park, Ill., formerly of Pt. Pleasant, W.Va., died April 29, in West Suburban Medical Center, Oak Park.
She was born December 28, 1926, in Rockcastle, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ralph and Nellie (Stover) Kent. Her husband, Charles S. Harmon, sister, Gertrude Hall, and brothers, Rupert Kent, and Harold Kent, preceded her in death.
She was a retired reservationist from Eastern Airlines, and was affiliated with the Epiphany Lutheran Church, Elmhurst. She enjoyed needlepoint and gardening.
Survivors include her son, Charles R. (Carol M.) Harmon of Dublin, OH; daughter, Jean (Kurt) Ostick of Carpentersville, grandchildren, Jason Ostick and Joshua Ostick, both of Carpentersville, Sally Harmon (Andy) Hague of Columbus, OH, and Elizabeth A. Harmon of Dublin, OH, great granddaughter, Stella L. Hague, and several nieces and nephews. Condolences may be sent to: castofh@gmail.com.
Services were held Monday, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans, W.Va., with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating. Burial followed in the Creston Cemetery, Evans.
