Marie A. Jorgensen, age 67, a 33 year resident of Forest Park passed away on June 13, 2013 at her home. She was born in Chicago on August 31, 1945. She was a graduate of Northern Illinois University receiving a degree in accounting.
She was a ten year member of the Village Vocal Cords. Marie was an avid reader of suspense and mystery novels. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd and her son Steven.
A visitation and funeral service were held June 20, 2013 at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home in Oak Park. Interment took place at Forest Home Cemetery.
