Yearbook's store mascot Henry Clarence will be fed extra treats during Summer Nights on Madison Thursdays until the end of August.

Hoping to drum up business on Thursday nights, a loose collective of Forest Park businesses are joining together to host Summer Nights on Madison every Thursday evening through the summer, starting July 11.

A total of 45 restaurants and businesses on Madison and within walking distance have agreed to stay open Thursday evenings.

“By joining together, we want to help promote business in Forest Park for the summer,” said Yearbook’s co-owner Noel Eberline.

The group is using a Facebook page to get the word out. Merchants are offering free beverages, live music, sales and giveaways. So far, Yearbook, Jayne Boutique, American Artworks Gallery, Flavour Cooking School and Madison Street Shoes have posted on the page.

Visitors to Yearbook can see Henry Clarence, the resident bulldog, and feed him carrot chips, Eberline said.
