The Village of Forest Park warned that the snow-tow routes would be in effect Monday, because two-to-three inches of snow are expected overnight. The village enforces snow routes when more than two inches of snow has fallen.
Most snow routes are on the same side of the street as the street light poles, a village email said. Violators who block the snow routes can receive a traffic citation or even have their car towed, the village warned. Public Works crews will plow overnight.
“Please try and avoid leaving your vehicle on the street for an extended period of time if possible,” the village’s electronic message said.
