When Rich Schauer blows out his birthday candles, everyone hopes he’ll wish for a repaired popcorn machine. Rich is so big-hearted he’s closing the hardware store and giving all his employees the day off on his birthday. (It’s also Easter.)

Sincere sympathy to Suzie Fishman, one of the friendly waitresses at Louie’s. Suzie’s mother, LaVerne Jaskiw, died at age 91 in Hayward, Wisconsin. This amazing lady learned to drive at age 77 and underwent a triple bypass at age 88!
