John H. Boy, 51, of Forest Park, died on May 7, 2015. Born on April 27, 1964, he grew up as part of a family with longtime ties to the Park District of Forest Park.
He is survived by his wife, Gina Onesti-Boy; his daughter, Danielle Boy; his mother, Sandra Boy; his grandmother, Lorraine Boy; his grandchildren, Rylan Loveless and Ariana Boy; his siblings, Janine Boy-Parisi, Claudine Boy and Michelle (Erik) Lindgren; and Jason Brown, to whom he was a father-figure. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard “Bud” Boy and his son, Johnny T. Boy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 W. Madison St. in Forest Park. A 9:15 meeting time at the funeral home is planned for Thursday, May 14 to proceed to Ascension Catholic Church, where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Fairview Memorial Cemetery.
