Mitch Altman, a San Francisco hackerspace guru who started the Noisebridge space in San Francisco is in Chicago, and he’s coming to speak at the church to anyone who’s interested tonight.
Pizza will be served.

What: Mitch Altman, founder of Cornfield Electronics, helped found the NoiseBridge Hackerspace in San Francisco. He is in Chicago to spread the word about the hacker- and makerspace movement. The Historical Society of Forest Park is exploring opening a hackerspace in our new cultural and heritage center at the First United Church building which includes a two-story classroom annex. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Children and teens welcome.
