This year District 91 adopted new reading and math programs. The reading program for Kindergarten-2nd grade is Superkids. The Superkids program includes all of their ELA lessons. In the program students meet the Superkids in Kindergarten and begin going on adventures with them through their reading stories. As the students grow and mature so do the Superkids. One adventure that the 2nd graders read about is the Superkids planting bulbs with their teacher, Ms. Blossom. Mrs. Luperini and Mrs. Goldenberg decided that they would also plant some bulbs with their students. They planted them on the corner of Hannah Avenue and Jackson Boulevard by the Garfield School sign. Be sure to look for their flowers in the springtime, they will make the corner beautiful.
