Proviso East (0-8) went on the road to face West Suburban Gold rival Willowbrook (7-1) only to realize that they indeed had a long journey ahead of them on the road to conference competitiveness. The Pirates had no answer for Willowbrook running backs Jack Jesson and Chris Diaz who combined for 299 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. On offense East was completely stymied by the Warriors swarming defense and were only able to score a couple of touchdowns after the Warriors took their collective foot off the gas pedal. The final score was 57-12. Proviso East plays their final home game of the season this coming Saturday October 21 against the Blazers of Addison Trail.
