June Catherine Anderson (nee Smith), 93, of Forest Park, has died. She was the wife of the late Robert G. Anderson; mother of Mary Jane Schaaf, Robert (Joan) Anderson Jr., Sue Kent, Marge (Bruce) Waldersen, and the late Thomas Anderson; grandmother of Megan June Schaaf, Daniel, Christopher, Kaylyn and Patrick Anderson, and Kevin, Matthew and Stephen Waldersen; great-grandmother of Taylor, Thomas and Jace Anderson; sister of Mary Jane (the late James) Termondt and Phyllis (Rudy) Burciaga; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Mass were held on Sept. 20 at St. Edmund Church, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. The family appreciates memorials to The Compassionate Friends, 1000 Jorie Blvd., #140, Oak Brook 60523 or to the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago 60607.
