Aperion Care Forest Park, 8200 Roosevelt Rd., has 10 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and one death, according to an Illinois Department of Public Health website reporting on long term care facilities and outbreaks among residents and staff.
The data, which is updated weekly, was reported on April 24. Last week’s numbers according to the same website were five cases and one death.
In total, Cook County has 2,035 cases and 333 deaths in long term care facilities.

According to the website, the information provided “is provisional, subject to change, and updated weekly. Facilities report data to their local health departments, which in-turn report to IDPH, so lag time and discrepancies are to be expected.”
