Residents have until Nov. 13 to respond to a District 91-sponsored survey looking for input on the search for a new superintendent for the elementary school district.

The survey, designed by the search firm School Exec Connect with input from the district, is seeking the opinions of D91 stakeholders in the search for a replacement for Lou Cavallo, who retires at the end of the school year.

“The board of education would like your input as we begin our search for a new superintendent to lead our district,” reads the introduction page of the survey. “We will use the information we gather from focus groups, open forums, and this questionnaire to help create the profile of our next leader.”

The survey includes questions about the district’s current strengths and biggest challenges. It asks for input on what goals the new superintendent should prioritize and seeks opinions on what characteristics are important in the new district leader.

The survey clearly states that the responses are “anonymous and confidential.” All results will be posted on the district’s website in the future.
