Mayor Rory Hoskins said on Nov. 12 that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

On Monday, Nov. 9, Hoskins participated in the village council Zoom meeting from home, instead of from his village hall office as he usually does, stating he had a fever and was staying home until he could be tested.

He was tested on Wednesday and received a positive result.

Multiple staff members of village hall have also tested positive, and the clerk’s office remains closed for in-person business, though phone and online services are available.

The zoning/building department and police station, accessible through village hall, both remain open. Visit forestpark.net or call 708-366-2323 for assistance.
