A 36-year-old Chicago man, Pablo Aragon-Hernandez, died from a stab wound or wounds he sustained in Forest Park on May 21.
He was found in Maywood and transported to Loyola Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
The Maywood Police Department’s investigation revealed that the stabbing took place in Forest Park near 8401 Roosevelt Road, according to a May 24 press release from the Forest Park Police Department (FPPD).
FPPD’s Criminal Investigation Division has taken over the investigation and will work with the West Suburban Major Crimes Task Force.
“At this time, investigators are unsure of the motive for the stabbing,” read the press release.
