A bill used to buy $100 worth of scratch off lottery tickets was believed to be a forgery because the words “play money” were printed on it.
The bill was successfully passed at a business in the 7200 block of Washington Street in Forest Park on Oct. 22. The four lottery tickets purchased with the phony money were noted by law enforcement.
This information was obtained from police reports filed by the Forest Park Police Department. Unless otherwise indicated, anybody named in these reports has only been charged with a crime. These cases have not been adjudicated.
