A bill used to buy $100 worth of scratch off lottery tickets was believed to be a forgery because the words “play money” were printed on it.

The bill was successfully passed at a business in the 7200 block of Washington Street in Forest Park on Oct. 22. The four lottery tickets purchased with the phony money were noted by law enforcement.
