A woman allegedly took coffee and donuts from a Forest Park gas station without paying for them, the second time in a week she made off with the same free meal.
Police were called to the Thornton’s Gas Station at 601 Harlem Ave. a little after 10 a.m. on Nov. 14 and told that someone wearing a blue jacket and white long-sleeve shirt took the items, valued at $5.10. Officers were told their suspect was last seen traveling northbound on Harlem Avenue.
A woman matching the thief ’s description was later spotted walking on Harlem and was identified as the same person who had been accused of stealing coffee and donuts from a different location one week prior.
The woman was issued a citation.
