Josephine E. Danca, 84, Loving sister and aunt
Josephine E. Danca, 84, of Forest Park, passed away at her home on Dec. 28, 2005. Mrs. Danca was the devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Danca, the loving sister of the late Samuel, Emanuel and James Danca and the loving sister-in-law of Fran Bittner. Mrs. Danca was the fond aunt of Richard Danca-Scafidi, Jeff Danca and Marisue Hojnacki and the great-aunt of Sarah Merkely and Katherine Danca Scafidi. A visitation and funeral Mass were held Dec. 31, 2005 at St. Bernardine Church in Forest Park. A private interment was held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials should be sent to the American Diabetes Association, Northern Illinois Office, 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL 60622 or to St. Bernardine Church, 7246 Harrison St., Forest Park, IL 60130. Arrangements were handled by Drechsler, Brown and Williams Funeral Home.

Dorothy R. Buchholz, 90, Great-grandmother of seven
Dorothy R. Buchholz passed away at age 90 on Dec. 31, 2005. Mrs. Buchholz, a former resident of Forest Park and Berwyn, was the wife of the late Arthur A. Buchholz and the mother of Arthur J. Buchholz, Robert R. Buchholz, Richard Buchholz and Kathryn Willis. Mrs. Buccholz also had six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She retired in 1987 from Laidlaw Publishing. Memorial services were held Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Kopicki Heritage Funeral Home in Berwyn.

Hella M. Kukuk, 78, Former Harlem Manner
und Damen Chor president

Hella M. Kukuk, age 78, longtime resident of Forest Park, passed away at her home January 2, 2006. She was born on January 11, 1927 in Gross Helfendorf, Germany to Josef and Maria Mailer. She was a member and former president of the Harlem Manner und Damen Chor. She is survived by her husband Edgar J. of Forest Park and her children Peter Kukuk of LasVegas, NV and Monika (Chester) Marc of Lombard, IL. She was the devoted grandmother of Nicole and Lucas Marc of Lombard. She is also survived by six brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. A visitation was held January 6 at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home in Oak Park. A funeral Mass was held January 7 at St. Bernardine Church. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
