While going through old family pictures with my mother (96) we found this photography (please see the attached) and my mother only remembered that her father, who passed away in 1964, told her it was his uncle. There had been mail contact at one time but she would not know his name or other background. My grandfather was a Friedrich Hautt from the village Winningen on the Mosel. He was born there in 1892 and so accordingly an uncle should at least be 10 years older. This uncle immigrated into the United States before World War I and obviously joined the Police in Forest Park.
Can you give me some advice of how I could find a trace – maybe there are family descendants still living in the area?
