It is interesting that the library board has only women and no men are members. Maybe because it is a closed group and you have to know someone to get a seat. If it was all men, liberals would say this is sexist and biased, but because it is all women, that is supposed to be acceptable. I think it is time for even representation on the board. In a more democratic system, the members would run for a seat, open to all village residents. That is much more fair and equitable.
