May is Foster Parent Appreciation Month. A big shout-out to all the families that give of their heart and homes. But while foster parents are on the front line, they have lots of back up. Additional shout-outs to the educators, therapists, and social workers. Also the volunteers, donors and businesses that support the agencies, financially and with other means. Finally, the medical professionals deserve special kudos. So, it really does take a village to raise these special children. Maybe you have that place in your heart to positively impact one more life.
