South PTO, PTC and Mr. McElligott organized a district-wide Math Night on Friday, January 22. There was a nice turnout for this first-time event. Teachers from all over the district organized many hands-on math experiences and games including: Dice (add and subtract) Domino Matador, Magic Square, Probability, Lines of Symmetry, Asian Carp Capture, Positive and Negative Number Race, Problems of the Month and Prodigy computer games. It was wonderful to see so many excited about math!
