e-Learning in District 91

What does e-Learning look like?  – While the schools may be closed, teachers are available and continue to provide learning through various technologies throughout the day. The e-learning provided is often asynchronous –with interactions taking place in different places and at different times using technologies such as Google Classroom, email, pre-recorded lessons, live streams, Clever portals and Zoom meetings. The resources allow students to access assignments and also get assistance in real time.  Sue Bogdan, a fifth grade teacher at Field-Stevenson use the Zoom video conferencing to meet up with students who need assistance with their work.  This is the first implementation of full e-learrning, and there will be modifications to address potential barriers faced by those with special needs and disabilities.  Meanwhile, teachers are working hard to provide content, engagement, continuous learning while staying connected with their students.
