On Wednesday, April 20th, the Field-Stevenson National Elementary Honor Society members traveled to Aurora to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children, non-profit organization committed to feeding children throughout the world. The students packed vitamin enriched meals specifically formulated for malnourished children. The Feed My Starving Children website states that a single meal costs less than 25 cents to produce, and FMSC devotes more than 90 percent of total donations to feeding kids. Students realized their work brings hope to people around the world and that they are makinga difference when they volunteer. Thanks Mr. Cushing, Mrs. Binder and Mr. Dudlo for organizing this event!
