Happy first anniversary to Laura Fox who is commemorating her first year as a Forest Parker this week. Apologies to Laura for not welcoming her last year when she arrived. My fault, disorganization is to blame. Laura’s friend, Stephanie Lanier, is very happy to have her friend nearby.
Some Forest Parkers played host to out-of-town friends who came to hear the Phish concerts last weekend. The friends went to both concerts, Friday and Saturday nights. Chris Forbin even stopped off at the Indianapolis concert on his way back home to Ohio. Marko Esquandolas came all the way from Colorado. Forest Parkers in the group are hostess Christina Respass and Harry Hood.
Grandpa (“Paw”) Roger Grant and Grandma (“Maw”) Geri took their Nashville daughter, Anna, and grandkids, Jack, Ava and Stella, to Wrigley Field on Monday, June 20. It was an exciting day for everyone when Willson Contreras, rookie catcher, first time at bat, first pitch, hit a home run. The crowd cheered for what seemed like an eternity. They threw that famous ball back to Contreras to be preserved in his family treasure chest forever.
Birthdays this week include Darsharlitte Barron, June Doulder, Kathleen Bell, Dan Bjornson, Mary Hillander, Lisa Marquardt, Charlotte Vaccaro, Tim Flight, Virginia Callis, Scott McAdam, Ben Reina, Matt Montes, Melissa Murgas, Alaina Buzas, Sue Pyan, Shirley Christell, Christy Cesario, and Lucian Dubem.
Happy anniversary to Gert and Millard Phebus.
Happy July 4th, but don’t overlook July 1st, Canada Day!
