Marietta Holub (nee Davin), 94, formerly of Crest Hill and Forest Park, died peacefully on Sept. 19, 2018 at her home at Spring Meadows in Naperville. Born on Aug. 20, 1924 in Pekin, Illinois, she is survived by her children, Rick (Barbara), Edward (Laurel), April (Robert) Paetkae, Jeffrey and Cindy (George) Smith; her grandchildren, Kenneth, Lorina, Tiffany, Edward, Jeffery, Robert, Ashley, Jeffrey, George III, Meagan, Matthew, James, Jessica and Steven; her great-grandchildren, Makayla, Megan, Mia, Tanner, Colton, Ryan, Arya, George IV, Brooklynn, Isabella, Gwen, Skylar and Luna; and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Richard F. Holub, her husband of 65 years; her parents, Henry and Theresa Davin; and her siblings, Richard Davin and Patricia (William) Fermoyle.
Visitation was held on Sept. 21 with service on Sept. 22 at Naperville’s Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
