Edward R. Lambke, 84, a longtime Forest Park resident who later resided in Wheaton, died on July 19, 2019. Born on Sept. 30, 1934 in Forest Park, he was a member of the Lions Club for over 50 years, a member of St. Bernardine and St. Michael parishes, and a former Forest Park commissioner.
Ed Lambke was the husband of Barbara for 62 years; the father of Ed (Michele), Barbie (Kirk) Guthrie, and Jerry (Martha); Papa to Zach, Justin “JJ”, Michael, Erin and Carolyn; and brother of Hank (Tina), Eleanore Dennison, and Dorothy.
Funeral prayers were held on July 24 at the William-Kampp Funeral Home in Wheaton, followed by Mass at Wheaton’s St. Michael Catholic Church, with interment at the church cemetery.
