Patricia Dolores Hemstreet, 95, of Fountainville, Pennsylvania, formerly of Forest Park, died on Aug. 25, 2019. Born on Oct. 17, 1923 in Oak Park, she was a resident of Forest Park for many years. She raised a family of nine at 7516 Brown Ave. and ran for village commissioner in 1971. A buyer for Spaulding and Co. at the Drake Hotel in Chicago for many years, she loved her Catholic faith, her large family, the Chicago Cubs and playing golf.
Pat Hemstreet is survived by her daughters, Janet (Bill), Patricia (Brad), Mary Beth (Steve), Laurel (Fred), and her sons, Jack (Lesta), Thomas (Regina), Robert, Terry and Richard, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and her parents, John and Genevieve McNally Hardin.
