Couch Potato Friday
Come on out to Scratch Kitchen, 7445 Madison St., on Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. to chill out. Friends and Seinfield will be played, and bacon flavored popcorn will be served. The comfort food of the night is stuffed meatloaf.

Mayor Hoskins’ Community Toy Drive
Thursday, Dec. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the American Legion, 500 Circle Ave. Please bring an unwrapped gift for kids aged 3 to 16 or a gift card for youth aged 11 to 16. Free food and soft drinks! If you’re unable to attend, you can still help by dropping off a gift at the Howard Mohr Community Center, 7640 Jackson Blvd.
Grown-up Game Night
Spend an evening with the Forest Park Public Library (offsite) playing a variety of board and card games. Either compete against each other, or work with one another, playing games like Scrabble, Exploding Kittens, Flash Point or bring your own! December 16, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Park District of Forest Park, 7401 Harrison St., Building 4.
