Pirate Shannon Brown, Proviso East class of 2003, led the team in scoring with 20 points in East’s match up with Providence-St. Mel in the first matchup of the Proviso West Holiday Tournament that year.  He went on to lead the team in rebounds in their next two matchups, against Hillcrest and Manley.  Now in its 59th year, the Proviso West Holiday Tournament kicks off on December 26th.
