Cub Scout Food Drive

Forest Park Cub Scout Troop 109 is hosting a food drive, called Scouting for Food, which will support local families through the Howard Mohr Community Center’s food pantry. The drive began on Saturday, April 17, when scouts distributed informational door hangers to houses in the area. The hangers instructed residents to leave food donations on their doorsteps after 9 a.m. on April 24. At that time, scouts will pick up the food and deliver it to the Howard Mohr Community Center. All non-perishable, non-expired food donations are welcome. Suggested donations include peanut butter, canned/dry beans, boxed pasta/rice/potatoes, or canned soups.  To make a monetary donation to the drive, please text Scout4Food to 41444. For more information, please contact Paul Murray at 773-919-6680.
