John Paul O’Connor, 65, a longtime resident of Forest Park, died on April 11, 2021. Born on April 11, 1956, he was a retired longtime educator from Triton College.
He was the father of the late Lauren O’Connor McDonald; the grandfather of Jeramiah, Tremaine and Xavior; the brother of James (the late Judy), Ann, William (Pam Ried), Michael, Carole, and the late Robert; son of the late Robert James and Dorothy (nee Stoeck) O’Connor; and the uncle of Amanda (Matt) Ball, Ashley, Ryan, Emily (Ian) Ahrens, Jillian, and Maura.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Funeral services are Thursday 9:15 a.m. then to St. Bernardine Church 7246 W. Harrison St., Forest Park for Mass at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
