D209 hosting COVID-19 vaccine clinic for students

Proviso Township High School District 209 is partnering with Jewel-Osco in hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for students on May 19 at the fieldhouse at Proviso West High School, 4701 Harrison St., Hillside. The second dose will be administered on June 9.

Appointments for D209 students aged 16 and up can be scheduled online at https://tinyurl.com/fnffw54t. Students will receive the Pfizer vaccine and will be excused from classes for the day.

“This is an exciting opportunity and it gets us one step closer to returning to full, in-person learning,” wrote D209 Superintendent James Henderson in an email to families.
