Raptor Ramble
Join Trailside Museum of Natural History, 738 Thatcher Ave. in River Forest, on Saturday, June 5 at 10 a.m. to learn about and take an up-close look at an owl or hawk. Growing Food at Home
Join the Forest Park Public Library on June 3 from 7 to 8 p.m. for a virtual workshop with master urban farmer Natasha Nicholes. The workshop will provide a chance to make a window sill garden and all the tools you need to grow your own food in containers in your backyard. Breast Cancer Support
Drop-ins are welcome at Rush Oak Park’s breast cancer support group run by Wellness House. Meetings are on Mondays from 7 to 8:30 p.m at Rush Oak Park, 610 S. Maple Avenue, Suite 2000 in Oak Park. This group provides an opportunity for breast cancer survivors to come together to exchange information and strategies for making decisions and navigating the breast cancer experience.

Forest Park Art Stroll
On Thursday, June 3 from 6 to 9 p.m., join the Forest Park Chamber and Forest Park Arts Alliance to celebrate the first “First Thursday” art walk, featuring local independent artists and Madison Street’s artists and makers.
