A responsible cyclist locked his bicycle to a “Do Not Enter, One Way” sign near the intersection of Madison Street and Marengo Avenue early on the morning of Oct. 23, only to find that a resourceful thief had pulled the sign out of the ground and stolen his bike while he was away.
The bicycle, which was described as blue with orange outlines, has an estimated value of $50.
No suspect has been identified.
