Tina C. Moles

Tina C. Moles (nee Skembare), 98, of Forest Park, died peacefully in her home on Oct. 29, 2021. After raising five daughters with her husband of 56 years, she went back to school and earned her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University. She was an energetic and respected presence at the British Home where she worked as the social director for 25 years.

A kind and loving mother whose support for her daughters was unwavering throughout her life, she had a wonderful sense of humor and a personality that drew people to her. She loved nothing better than cooking and entertaining for family and friends and was passionate about current events and loved to discuss them with anyone willing to engage with her.

Tina was the wife of the late Anthony F. Moles; the mother of Terese (the late Jeremy) Mach, Carole (Patrick) Wallace, Judith (Ronald) Pikul, Janice (Scott) Brooks, and Kay (Scott) Emery; grandmother of Lissa (Jeff), Cassandra (Josh), Gina (Peter), Michael Orseno, Jay (Diana), Tony (Tracy), Spencer and Austin Brooks, Jake (Kathy), and Dominic (Patricia); and great-grandmother to 21, ranging in age from 3 months to 22 years. She was preceded in death by her five sisters, Jennie, Millie, Eleanor, Lillian, and Irene.

The family will receive guests on Nov. 14 from 1 to 3:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 W. Madison St., Forest Park.
