A responsible citizen receiving his COVID- 19 immunization received an unwelcome surprise when he went back to the parking lot where his SUV had been broken into and ransacked.
The man was at the Walgreen’s at 7200 Roosevelt Rd. on Oct. 29 around 1:30 p.m. to receive his jab. When he left less than an hour later, he saw that the rear driver’s side window on his Hyundai Santa Fe had been broken. The thief or thieves allegedly stole an unknown amount of loose change and several restaurant gift certificates from inside the SUV.
This information was obtained from police reports filed by the Forest Park Police Department. Unless otherwise indicated, anybody named in these reports has only been charged with a crime. These cases have not been adjudicated.
