Officers from the Forest Park and Oak Park police departments responded to multiple calls of shots fired from two vehicles driving eastbound on Lexington Street near Harlem Avenue just after midnight on Sunday, Nov. 7.

The two dark sedans were reportedly “shooting at each other.” The cars had left the area by the time officers arrived.

Forest Park police later recovered four used handgun shell casings in the southbound lanes of Harlem near where it intersects with Lexington.
