Thanksgiving is for football, feasting and appreciating, the day after is for shopping, and the weekend, at least for plenty of American families, is for decorating.
And for those eager decorators, registration is already open for the Park District of Forest Park’s Holiday House Decorating Contest.
Park district officials will take daytime and nighttime photos of every entrant’s house on Dec. 20, with judging scheduled for Dec. 21-23. Winners will be announced on Dec. 23 at 5 p.m.
The contest is free to enter.
