A nurse working for a nonprofit community outreach organization was allegedly robbed of a medical supply kit that included, among other things, five doses of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.

The alleged theft was reported just after 11 p.m. on Nov. 18 at the Forest Park Blue Line terminal, 711 Desplaines Ave. The nurse said he was working with many of the outreach organization’s underserved clients when he noticed several of his supplies were missing.

The stolen items reportedly included: one vial (five doses) of Johnson & Johnson COVID- 19 vaccine; one vial (five doses) of flu vaccine; 20 needles and syringes; two epinephrine pens; and assorted bandages, ice packs and testing supplies.

This information was obtained from police reports filed by the Forest Park Police Department. Unless otherwise indicated, anybody named in these reports has only been charged with a crime. These cases have not been adjudicated.
