The Howard Mohr Community Center, 7640 Jackson Blvd., is hosting a seniors-only New Year’ s Eve party and tickets to the event are on sale now.
Senior citizens are invited to enjoy an “elegant meal” along with raffles, dancing, a champagne toast and party poppers at “pretend midnight,” which is 3 p.m. The party begins at 11 a.m.
Tickets are $50 for Forest Park residents and $55 for nonresidents. The center is offering door-to-door bus service to the event for $1, but only by appointment, and only for Forest Park’s senior citizen and disabled residents.
