A small dog allegedly bit a man on Thursday, Dec. 9.

The Forest Park Police Department was dispatched to the 1000 block of Desplaines Avenue just after 10 a.m. and spoke with a man who said he was doing some work at the property and moving equipment to an elevator when a leashed dog allegedly bit him on his lower left leg.

The dog’s owner said their son was walk- ing the dog at the time of the alleged bite. The dog, a small, 12-year-old, black-and- white, miniature poodle, is reportedly up to date on its vaccinations.

The man who was bitten did not require medical attention and asked that the dog’s owner not be cited. No citations were issued.
