Nancy Carol Rudd, 67, formerly of Forest Park, died peacefully in her Woodridge home on March 4, 2022. Her formative years were spent in Forest Park and she graduated from Proviso East High School in 1972. When she left her career in modeling, she spent years working with disabled children as a teacher assistant.
Those who knew Nancy will remember her smile and enduring happy outlook on life — her laughter will be missed.
Nancy was the partner of Patrick Moran, the sister of Karen (Rudd) Rozmus and Michael Rudd (Nadine Knight Rudd), the mother of Alyssa, Ariel, Christian and Logan, the proud “Grammy” of Lexie, Gabriel, Elias, Jonas and James and Hanna Shaw, and the aunt of Michael, Ted and Jon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Janet Rudd, of Forest Park.
A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery on Friday, April 15 at 1 p.m.
