In 1995 the No Gloves National 16-inch Softball Tournament faced record heat and crowds. Park Superintendent Larry Pikarz reported, “Those stands were packed and they lined up around the outfield … the crowd topped 1,000.” The Doll House took out Clout, Molex, Sticken and Prime Time before finishing off Lettuce in extra innings in the final game. This photo features the hometown team, Knockouts, at the plate, who ultimately were defeated by 45’s.
