Mary Sue Stanton (nee Boyd), 84, died peacefully at her Forest Park home on Oct. 17, 2022. Born on Dec. 18, 1937 in Bardwell, Kentucky to the late Joseph and the late Mable (nee Jones), she was the wife of the late James F.; the sister of Virginia “Ginny” Parchert, the late Dean Roberts, and Peggy Joe Kray; the aunt of Mona Roberts Lawrence, Kelly Parchert Drennan, Michael Parchert and the late John Roberts III and Joseph Thomas Roberts.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Church, 7600 W. Lake St., River Forest. The Mass will be streamed live on the church’s website.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude (www.stjude.org) are appreciated. Interment at Queen of Heaven, Hillside.
