Bach’s St. Matthew’s Passion
Saturday, March 25, 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 26, 4 p.m., Grace Lutheran Church
These performances are a collaboration between the Bach Cantata Vespers Choir & Orchestra and Chicago Choral Artists. Soloists include tenor Derek Chester as the Evangelist. Former WFMT program host Carl Grapentine will present a lecture on the music one hour before each performance. The Sunday concert will be live-streamed. Childcare will be available in the church nursery during live performances.
